Well, I'm back. I took a break and now I'm back. Did you miss me? I've been watching documentary's about WWII. It has been very interesting. I have also been re-reading the Dune series where religion is discussed a lot. It is interesting to see the parallels between Hitler's control of his people by use of religion and how modern religions control people. Also, there are a lot of things Hitler's government did that ours has been doing for the last 20 years or so.
How easy it seems to be to control the masses. Learn how to control their feelings and you control them. You can see it at work in religion as well as Politics. Both political parties (Dems and Reps) use this technique. Religions use it to get people to comply with what they believe God's wishes are. The question becomes how do you rise above the emotions and evaluate what is being said and done to determine if it is right or wrong.
